Resolution for 2009

Happy New Year! I'm so excited to see that so many people received Morff this holiday season. As my New Year's resolution to everyone I promise to post a new set of Morff rules in January on the website...they will be clear and direct.

In the meantime please, continue to email me at corie@eurekaranch.com or post on the site and I will get back to everyone as soon as possible.

HI,
I received this game as a Christmas gift this year and we tried to play it tonight. I didn't realize that there were 2 decks...so I mixed them all up. There were only 4 of us...and it definitely didn't work out right. I'm glad to see that we should have only had HALF that many cards. Makes MUCH more sense. I look forward to trying this game again.

Morff card game

We were playing with both decks because the inbox instructions did not say to only play with one deck, and it did not specify how many card to deal. So by having 20 trump cards and 80 Morff cards we figured it out. We also decided that when, for example, a yellow 8 was played, and then someone else played a yellow 8 that the last person that played the yellow 8 took the trick. It was a little confusing because the instructions and the trump deck says "hand" and a "hand" to us is a new deal with new cards. We think the trump deck should say "trick" since a new one is turned over for each "trick". It's fun.

how many cards do you give to everyone?
